Addiction to alcohol and other drugs is a chronic, progressive and sometimes fatal disease. It causes emotional, physical, financial, employment and social problems that can destroy relationships and ruin lives.

The good news about this disease is that addiction is treatable. With an opportunity to learn about the illness, develop coping skills and establish alternate behaviors, many individuals addicted to alcohol and other drugs can stop the progression of the disease, manage their addictions and live healthy lives.

Inpatient Detoxification

We provide inpatient detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazepines and assessment for opiate detox, as secondary to a co-occurring mental health diagnosis. Signature’s medically assisted detoxification is a process that allows the body to safely cleanse itself of toxins built up from drug and alcohol abuse while managing the symptoms of withdrawal. Detoxification is usually the first stepping-stone to a comfortable and safe addiction recovery.

Outpatient Treatment

If you do not require the structure of 24-hour care, you may be admitted to our outpatient program as your point of entry into addiction treatment.

Our outpatient treatment services allow you to stay at home or continue working while benefiting from a professional treatment program. The frequency and duration of outpatient services, along with the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), are based on the amount of support you need.

Medication-assisted detoxification and recovery for addiction to opioids (heroin and prescription pain medications) prescribed at the discretion of our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Brian Barash.

Outpatient levels of care include a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). We have 12-Step support groups that provide you guidance and support in all of our outpatient programs.

Our Chemical Dependency or Dual Diagnosis IOP groups meet three days a week for six weeks for three hours a session. Our Chemical Dependency or Dual Diagnosis PHP groups meets five days a week for a little over two weeks for four hours each session. Signature provides both evening and day sessions for you to choose from.

Residential Treatment

Residential treatment for addiction provides a structured, highly supportive environment and treatment regimen for patients in a 4-week treatment program. Patients receive 24-hour medical supervision in a residential level of care that is less medically intensive than inpatient acute care.

Residential treatment provides a private, safe living environment, free of the potential situational and environmental triggers that may have been reinforcing addiction. Residential services are focused on individuals with similar (but not identical) issues and, as such, can provide a tight-knit, supportive environment in which patients can place all of their attention on becoming well again.

The residential treatment program for addiction includes, but is not limited to, the following components:

  • Addiction education
  • Self-awareness
  • Outside recovery support options
  • Cognitive and behavior changes
  • Empathetic understanding
  • Healthy social behaviors and activities
  • Medication-assisted treatment
  • Family education and support utilizing the disease model as a family affair
