Kansas City, Missouri’s Preferred Program for TMS

What is TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy)?

For those with chronic depression, we offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). TMS treatment is a non-invasive treatment for medication-resistant depression. It is not new. The FDA approved TMS as a treatment for depression approximately two years ago and it’s been used as a treatment for more than a decade.

TMS consists of five treatments per week over a 4 to 6 week period. Each treatment session lasts just 20 minutes. More than 50 percent of patients experience an improvement of mood, while one out of three TMS patients, experience complete remission.

TMS Treatment is covered by most insurance companies. Contact our TMS outpatient clinic at (816) 683-3107 to learn if you are a candidate and to get answers to your insurance questions.

What Our TMS Patients Are Saying

You get to a place where you have nothing to lose. So I requested TMS treatment as a last resort. I find the treatment painful, but I'd do it every day of my life because it has changed my life. I had forgotten what is was like to get up in the morning and be able to function. I no longer dwell on things. Instead I let problems roll off my shoulders.
